LEGAL STATUS
LaMeD Academy of Malchi-Zedek is a 501(c) non-profit organization for the
advancement of education, religion and business.
MISSION
LaMeD Academy is designed to bring adults together for the purpose of educating
each other about the culture, customs, concerns and perspective of the other.
The proven premise is that familiarity and knowledge foster understanding and
diminish prejudice. Through these practices, LaMeD Academy serves as an
educational bridge for diversified religions and cultures.
ACADEMIC STATUS
LaMeD Academy provides training and education. LaMeD Academy was founded
in 1989. The Academy has offered workshops and seminars throughout the
United States and other countries. LaMeD also maintains a website (www.lamed.org)
offering theological information. LaMeD is a satellite school for AIHLS
offering the Bachelor of Religious Education - Middle Eastern History degree.
NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY
LaMeD Academy complies with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other legislation,
as amended, which prohibits discrimination in employment and access to
educational programs because of race, color, national origin, sex, age or
physical handicap. LaMeD Academy is committed to a policy of
non-discrimination and dedicated to providing a positive discrimination-free
environment.

GRADING SYSTEM
Students may earn grades of A, B, C, D, F or AU (Audit). A student has one
week into the course to make a change to registration to audit a class or take
it for credit provided the facilitator/instructor and the administration
approve. Students may withdraw from a course up to one week before the
exam. The student must notify LaMeD Academy in writing of the withdrawal.
TRANSCRIPTS
All information in each student's file is considered confidential information
and is issued only to authorized individuals. Requests for official
transcripts of the academic record from any individual or agency will not be
filled until authorization has been received in writing from the individual
student.
FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
Students must meet all financial obligations to LaMeD Academy in order to
qualify for continued enrollment or graduation. This means that, each
semester, each student must pay all money due to the academy.
COPYRIGHTS
All materials are copyrighted with all rights reserved, except as explained
herein. Our materials may not be used for any other purpose than LaMeD
Academy and/or AIHLS course study. Students may print/copy course
materials only for their personal use in completing coursework. Any other
use or duplication of course materials is a violation of copyright laws.
CHANGES
LaMeD Academy reserves the right to change fees and tuition without notice.
Course, requirements or any policies may be changed with posting on this site.
DISCLAIMER
LaMeD Academy makes no claims, promises or implied warranty regarding the value
of our services, whether for training, job attainment or academic accreditation.
It is up to the student to determine the validity of credits earned through
LaMeD Academy's courses. Each academic institution and/or each state
determines their own guidelines for transferable credits. LaMeD Academy
cannot determine whether or not a given school will recognize specific credits.
The only contract, and no other implied, which LaMeD Academy enters into with
the student, is to provide transcripted course credit for tuition paid. By
applying to LaMeD Academy, the student agrees to hold LaMeD Academy blameless
and not liable for failing any possible expectations of the student concerning
participation in LaMeD Academy. Any student who submits an application for
admission to LaMeD Academy agrees to the policies as listed here.
PRIVACY
Your online information is confidential and will not be transferred to any other
entity without your permission.
